As a youngster, prob going back to the age of 12/13 I was in an after school club for IT, and I saw the headmasters son playing on one of the computers playing a game called Age of Empires, and I was completely taken by this, and use to play it at school in my breaks and after school etc, anyway after a couple of months my mate introduces me to a game called half life.

At first I wasnt overly amazed but it grew on me, and I proceed to complete it on his computer! Anyway come Oct 1999 I got my first computer! A 433mhz intel, just enough to play half life!

When I got the internet I read some forums about half life, and someone introduced their new beta game "Counter-Strike" so I read up and downloaded it, and loved it from the first 5 mins of playing I was completely fixed on it...

The first clan I joined was DFWU! (don't fuck with us) of which we played mixes over irc and played in some competitions. After a while ppl were getting bored and going to newer games.

I then joined a clan with my school mate ggerg, to a clan called sDn (stoned drunk and nasty) and joined ED in 2000 and had the pleasure of playing aside aRiflip probably one of the best awpers ED had ever seen! aRi taught me to awp and I got better and better, but I could never be as fast or as spawny as aRi! We played some ED games and got to top 10 and stayed there for a few months!

Then Counter-Strike: Source came out, just after I got my new PC, a 1.2 ghz athlon! (w00t!) And so I bought source to see wat it was like, at first I wasnt too impressed as there wasnt many servers to begin with and went back to 1.6!

2 Months down the road, me and aRi started playing source more and more until eventually we decided to go in search of Source clans!

aRi and I went sepporate ways, him going to NEA (North East Alliance) and myself to SoL (Soldiers of Light).

In SoL I met some of the funniest and warm hearted ppl I'v ever known, all mature ppl, formally a BF1942 clan, and well respected in ED as a nice clean clan, it didnt take me long to be off trial, in fact I think I was accepted in 2 days! Although we didnt do amazing in ED we won against some awesome clans in their day, like Cro, BanaNa^ and FUK and n00bcamp!

The clan died 4 months down the line bc of the newest craze that was WoW, and all the members started playing WoW and I was left clanless, however previously to wow one of the clan members introduced me to Guildwars and I joined the guild LoS, but thats by the by!

After chatting to aRi and playing on the NEA server I was offered a place! and from there I joined NEA, and met ppl from my homeland of sunderland/newcastle. I was in NEA for about 6 months of which due to RL issues the clan broke and I was having trouble with 2 members previous to the disbanning of the clan, and left 2 weeks before the clan folding!

I then went looking for a new clan! I was picked up by BanaNa^ clan, who were 10th in prem in ED and played with them for a couple of months, and left due to some of the members were a lil OTT for me and annoyed me...

After BanaNa^ I joined Team Xtra top of ED Ladder and played with them for about a month until I turned up drunk and passed a comment about the iraq war and got kicked out but apparently that was just an excuse to kick me because the CL didnt like me..., I still to this day do not know wat I said, but meh!

After that I started looking for a new clan to help and get going, when I was approached by a young lad named Fletch, and joined me on a dust server and saw what I had to offer and I agreed to join him in playing for the clan, I then met badass, neep, andrew, moleman and rattkiller, and played out first match against noobcamp2 and played our first ED game against GoC and Ki got to 10th in ED Open!

In Ki I homed in on specialising on 1 weapon, and chose the awp as we didnt have a Primary awper in the clan! From there I got better and better, becoming one of the best awpers in ED Ladder, but due to personal problems I left CSS and fell into depression, but getting better I rejoined the squad and was welcomed with open arms, however was never able to get back to my former skill level .

Ki unfortunetly folded and i was left clanless again, and joined NEA again with one of the former members to bring NEA back to life!

After a couple of weeks fletch approached me tell me he wanted to get Ki back together again and offered me a co-leader position after asking everyone else first(uhummz)! But saying that I help fletch get the clan back together and helped in contacting old members and recruiting new ones and helping fund the whole operation!

Now Ki is better than ever and playing hard in ED and have made an incredable name for ourselves and have got an awesome reputation and claimed respect from 100's of clans in ED!

Nowadays I prefer Bomb defusal maps, not too keen on Hostage maps but still will play!

I'm still an awper and am improving everyday as we play high skilled clans and play clans with lots of different ideas!
